Day 42 Monday

I'm baaaaack! I took a hiatus from my blog and food tracking. Bad move! I didn't really gain any extra weight but I didn't lose either. Over the last couple of weeks, I learned some important lessons:

1. I must track what I eat
2. I must plan my meals
3. I cannot cheat for more than one meal
4. I must plan exercise

If I follow these simple (or not so simple) rules, I will reach my goal.

Today, I weighed in at 163.8. My food log can be viewed on myfitnesspal.com

Day 30

I've been away from my blog for a few days...It's day 30. Is 4 lbs in 30 days good? I dunno. I have to say that since I haven't blogged, I've gone a little off track. Not that I've gone crazy or anything...A couple Taco's, beer and Pizza are OK - within reason.

I'm still losing weight and feeling so much better than before I started on this journey. I gotta say that I'm aware of what I'm eating, not just eating to eat. Did you know that 3 Hershey's kisses total 67 calories? Yep, I actually checked the calories before had them.

Anyway, today I weighed in at 163.2. You can check out my food log on myfitnesspal.com.

Day 24 Friday

Today I went back into the 163 range and weighed in at 163.4.

I'm feeling very positive about losing this weight. I'm now 21 pounds away from my goal with a 4 pound total loss. I can do this! If you do the same, you can do it too!

I went over my calories tonight because we ate out for a family members Birthday. I think I did very well considering it was an Italian place. I shared a spinach salad and only had 1 of the 2 cannelloni I was served. When dessert came around, I had ONE tiny bite. Oh, you know I wanted more, but I held firm! And guess what? I was fully and completely satisfied :)

Day 23 Thursday

My weight today was 164.4! Yeah!

I ate something new today, Trader Joe's Colossal Butterflied Shrimp with garlic and herbs. These are soooo good and really easy to make - no prep, just throw them in the oven. Three large shrimp for 80 calories. Throw in a salad and you have dinner!
